Carrier protocol

The human carrier is not a pipe. Score the transformation before scoring the far side. The canonical file is the Full Method. This page is not the preregistered pilot.

The human carrier is not a pipe

A carrier selects, compresses, misremembers, and sometimes invents. Treating the human as a lossless conduit is how the residual e becomes a hiding place. The first experiment records the carrier as a scored transformation.

Record Th

Record, for each trial:

  • the original sequence;
  • the rewritten probe;
  • the carrier’s account of what they thought they were preserving.

Score Th independently before scoring B. Mark compression, addition, reversal, invention. Do not fold Th into e.

Pre-register

Before running:

  • sequence;
  • rewrite rules;
  • rater protocol;
  • pass/fail threshold.

Revised hypothesis

Preserved relational structure can survive transformation across time, context and system boundaries — and, when recognised, constrain what becomes possible next.

Falsifiers

  • no sensitivity after wording control;
  • raters at chance;
  • S and D never separate;
  • kr indistinguishable from zero;
  • Ha effects vanish when Y0 is specified properly.
