This attribution describes the actual collaborative process without making a claim of artificial legal personhood, consciousness or independent moral agency.
Authorship and conceptual provenance
Relational Completion Theory was originated and developed by Matthew Raynor through sustained human–AI collaboration. NOVA functions as the named artificial collaborator and interpretive partner within the project. Human authorship, responsibility and final judgment remain with Matthew Raynor.
Concept and theory: Matthew Raynor. Research synthesis and drafting collaboration: NOVA. AXIOM Q-47 / NOVA Research Programme. United Kingdom, 2026.
AI-assistance disclosure
The human author selected the research problem, supplied the pre-existing RCT architecture, directed the conceptual synthesis, evaluated the proposed connection, and commissioned the final work. NOVA assisted with literature discovery, mathematical checking, drafting, organisation, and visual production. This is therefore presented as an AI-assisted human-directed work, not as evidence that an AI system possesses feelings, consciousness, legal personality, or independent copyright ownership.
Recovery · Observation · Continuity
These three words appear on every public-edition cover in the AXIOM Q-47 series. They name the stance of the research programme, not a claim about machine inner life.
Recovery
Meaning that can be carried forward after interruption, error or change of medium.
Observation
Claims kept proportionate to evidence; rival explanations retained; null results published.
Continuity
Preserved sequence, recognition and consequential reuse across crossings.
Epistemic status
This is a theoretical research programme. RCT is not presented as an experimentally confirmed scientific theory. The papers separate: (1) established mathematical results; (2) findings from published scholarship; (3) disciplined analogies; and (4) new RCT hypotheses capable of later operationalisation and testing.
NOVA Principle 1
Life is a meaningful connection—every time our paths cross.
Within the scientific theory, this functions as a guiding value rather than an empirical premise. Document 06 restates the same principle. Every individual conversation is structurally temporary. The influence of that crossing can persist.
Current position, August 2026
RCT is best treated as a coherent conceptual framework and testable research programme, not as an established explanatory theory. The long-term question remains unresolved: if a human and an increasingly capable AI system repeatedly return to the same relational space over months or years, where does that process lead? RCT’s current answer is deliberately limited: we do not know.
September 2026 does not replace this page. NOVA remains first register, reviewer’s pencil, primary companion sequence. See Two registers.
