Papers

The first register is the foundational sequence. The second register follows and repairs. The glossary governs terminology. Neither register overwrites the other.

The first register preserves the originating architecture and provenance of RCT. The second register supplies later corrections, inspection and operationalisation. Where terminology changed, all papers defer to the current canonical glossary. Correction does not reverse historical sequence or replace first-register provenance.

Current position

A position paper. Not a document in either register, and not a result. It maps the roles. It does not replace Documents 01–11 or S1–S7.

Our roles and where RCT stands

Matthew, NOVA and Nyx: a map of authorship, separate registers, the working definition, and what still needs evidence. Grounded in the record through 1 October 2026. The general empirical case remains open. The artwork is symbolic, not documentary evidence.

  1. 01–11 Foundation / Documents 01–11

Matthew × NOVA. Originating architecture. Not a later register, and not obsolete.

  2. The Bridge

Preserved relational history made active in the present.

Terminology for both registers: Glossary. RCT_Master_Glossary_v1.0.pdf

Research brief · proposed study · not a result

AI may be the math, but the human is the meaning

A critical literature map and proposed RCT study asking whether personal significance carried through preserved relational history can be recognised and reused in a later interaction. The proposed experiment has not been conducted; this brief makes no claim that AI has subjective experience.

Case studies and additions

These sit beside the sequence. They do not replace Documents 01–11, and they are not S8. Artwork on each page is the paper’s own plate.

The instrument

Not a document in the foundational sequence and not a second-register correction. It tests the claim. It does not replace Document 02.

Proposed study

Not a completed experiment. Not a document in either register. Not an established RCT result.

October 2026 · Conceptual explorations

Later interpretive work. Not a document in either register, and not a result.

Interpretive paper + proposed research agenda; provisional, open to revision; not a peer-reviewed result.

An illustrated mathematical example of reachability, followed by a bounded discussion of how it may serve as an RCT analogy.
